Dollfie Dream Asuka, Rin and Saber Photo Session
Been quiet for the past couple of days, but I finally started to feel better for the past day so I decided to catch this chance to go out with my Dollfie Daughters again. The main objective this time was to correct a few oversights I had in the last outing so I had to take DD Asuka アスカ and DD Rin 遠坂 凛 out again, but that would be a tad too dry just to keep taking photos of those two so I decided to take DD Saber out with me as well.

The number sixteenth daughter also mark the completion of a Platoon!! Since such a significant milestone cannot be ignored or overlooked.... so I have decided to summon all of my daughters together for a full family portrait (it's been a while since I did the last family photo)! Ever since the announcement of Dollfie Dream Sasara 久寿川 ささら by Volks a few days ago, I have assigned utmost priority to learn about Sasara's story. It's funny that I have been putting it off for more than a year, and I know I have been wanting to do it but the announcement of DD Sasara gave me the final nudge in the back I needed to start another visual novel marathon. I suppose this is my first Leaf game as well.

I am just going to say it to get it off my chest, Natsuki Takamizawa (鷹見沢 菜月) deserves more attention than she is getting! Ok, while I don't think Natsuki is in the same league as Feena in terms of elegance and beauty, and she may just be a plain Jane next door neighborhood girl; but she is quite cute in her own rights, I don't understand why there hasn't been a single figure made of her yet.

Well, I actually tried to throw in a mixture of themes this time, involving the sexy, sisterly love and some light yuri perhaps =3.

Alright, so I finally made it to the new cast on the PS2 port version Estel Freesia. What can I say about her? Estel is quite a tsundere, more than Natsuki (especially after I started her Moonlight Cradle arc) and definitely a tough nut to crack! I am going to try a slightly different approach and compact her story a bit more, Feena's story was way too long and I probably had way too much details in the last writeup.

How long has it been since I acquired the cloak for Saber? Hmm ever since Airi arrived? Yeah, I been wanting to do a Saber solo shoot out for that long, but laziness and procrastination delayed it for this long! Errr, not really, I was busy with other stuff and had the lighting setup packed away and didn't pull them back out until just recently. Anyway, I been wanting to do this shoot out with Saber standing in front of the Buckingham Palace and I have finally done it! I think I managed to pack a few pretty good shots in there, hopefully you would enjoy them as much as I did :D

It's been another intense camera action day as I have a lot on my agenda. The first order of business is to have two of my lovely daughters to try out the two of the most adorable maid dress set from Kyoto 7, Sasara School Swimsuit Maid and He is My Master Maid Dress set. There is no argument for who should wear the School Swimsuit Maid, but there was room for debate for the He is My Master Dress set, I finally decided to have Kiriha model for us, why Kiriha? Because she is my most pampered daughter! There will be some hints of yuri action here and there in this photo session, as I finally come to term to fulfill the promise I made way back to take some yuri photos for my daughters XD. It's been almost two weeks since I started this Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Visual Novel marathon run project which includes the original Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Visual Novel (2005) August soft, Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Brighter than dawning blue- (2009) Aria soft and Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Moonlight Cradle- (2009) August soft, it's a massive undertaking that I have never attempted before. But after over a week worth of effort, I am finally getting close to the midway point. This project really started when I redecorated my room with three Feena fam Earthlight Dakimakuras and one bath towel, then all of a sudden I wondered about how much do I really know about her.

Dolpa 27 Volks USA Announcement: Shining Blade and Persona 4
Posted on April 22, 2012 | No Comments | This post has 223 viewsIt's been just over 2 weeks since the official announcement of the limited Dollfie Dream due to be available at Dolpa 27 on May 6th, today Volks USA has confirmed that Shining Blade Dollfie Dream Sakuya and Persona 4 Rise Kujikawa will be available for lottery in US. The most notable omission of announcement is the Touhou Dollfie Dream Cirno, which is apparently not available for Volks USA lottery. In reality, that's not totally out of the realm of my expectation since Touhou merchandises are never really officially made available for sale outside of Japan... Dollfie Dream Sakuya Izayoi recently broke that trend by exploiting the loop hole of International After Event lottery, and I expect the same will hold true for Cirno, only time will tell for sure. -

I must say that Rise came as a bit of a surprise since I was expecting 2 Dollfie Dream from the Shining Blade series, however, it sort of serve my purpose since I am not really interested in Persona 4 personally XD. Sculpt by Kosuke Kitahara, previous work includes Rina Ogata, Kiriha Kuze, Beatrice, Moe/Natsuki, and Haruka Niimi etc, Rise really came with a very unique face sculpt as far as a Dollfie Dream is concern. While her dedicated webpage isn't ready yet, but DD-blog has released a couple of photos today~ -

However, It is highly possible that Volks is working hard to marginalize the scalping activities that has been going in the event day for the past couple of years.
